These classes are conducted for art enthusiasts and newbies alike. They also make for great team-building activities.
Private Functions are available with a minimum of 6 people up to 150 people in a single session.
These art lessons are guided by a local professional artist who believes that

Paint and Sip Parties
Private events are available for most dates and times as we have a number of studio shops at uptown Brisbane City. However Prime time slots are booking up fast, so best to book asap.
Best check date and time, and secure booking with deposit, final numbers can be confirmed 1 week leading up to the event. We have a number of studios in the Brisbane City with byo drinks and food, we do have platters available to order, and restaurant locations if required. We have a variety of Restaurants available with minimum spends required, See full details below for your best option
Best to book asap to save the date with a deposit now, then you can finalise final numbers and payment the week leading up to the event by the Monday of that week.

BYO private workshop 1 at Uptown, Level 1, shop next to Old Myer Centre entry on Level 1, Brisbane, with BYO all drinks and food, Maximum 70 People. Private workshop available from 9am-7pm 7 Days per week. Booking blocks of 2 hours, with 3 hour window between bookings. Select a booking block of time. morning 9:30am-11:30am, Early afternoon 12:00pm-2:00pm, Afternoon 2:30pm-4:30pm or later afternoon 5:00pm-7:00pm running 7 days per week.
This venue with capacity of 70 plus people if required, with the Flamingo Studio 2 adjacent
Catering Available with platters from $14.50 per person
BYO private workshop 2 Flamingo Room at Uptown, Level 1, shop next to Old Myer Centre entry on Level 1, Adjacent to the Main shop in Brisbane, with BYO all drinks and food, Private workshop available from 9am-7pm 7 Days per week. This is a large shop that can also seat up to 70 people, with the two studios combined for up to 140 people events.
BYO private workshop 3 Foxy Room at Uptown, Level 1, shop next to old Myer Centre entry on Level 1, room capacity is 30 people, with BYO all drinks and food, Private workshop available from 9am-7pm 7 Days per week.
BYO private workshop 4, Purple Hidden Door Room (Near Lincraft, and playzone) at Uptown, Level 1, Full Private room capacity is 40 people, with BYO all drinks and food, Private workshop available from 9am-7pm 7 Days per week.
BYO private workshop 5, Yellow Wonderland Studio (Next to Retros) at Uptown, Level 1, Full Private room capacity is 50 people, with BYO all drinks and food, Private workshop available from 9am-7pm 7 Days per week.
BYO private workshop 4, Van Gough Studio, next to the Purple Door Studio, at Uptown, Level 1, Full Private room capacity is 40 people, with BYO all drinks and food, Private workshop available from 9am-7pm 7 Days per week.

Door 84, Queen Street (Adjacent to Uptown on Queen Street), at Entry via 84 Burnett lane, Capacity 100 people, with bar and Restaurant service. This is not a private space as restaurant and bar style venue. No minimum Spend. Pizza $15 any day, or Korean Menu FunnyFunny.
Best to get a deposit down sooner then later, as first in best dressed on dates and times. Select 50% of the seats required for the deposit, final numbers and payment can be made the week leading up to the event with final numbers. FAQ
01 What time should I get there for my event?
It is fine to arrive upto 15 minutes prior to your start time so you can get everyone there on time, and also have time to get your group organised with drinks and food before so good to start for your 2 hour session.
02 What does the drinks package include?
The Brisbane City studios are BYO Bring your own. There is a BWS two floors down in the same building of Uptown. We have plastic cups, however if you prefer glassware this is also byo including Cutlery if required.
03 How many guests do I need to book a function?
We have a minimum of 6 guests for all function packages. However, for November and December, Thursday till Sunday. There is a minimum spend of $580 which can include platters to bring up the value including the Seating cost.
04 Can I pay after the event?
We do require a 50% deposit on booking and the final payment and numbers, 7 business days prior to your event.
05 How do I order Platters.
We have a separate Platters ordering page link on the Function Page. The Platters are sized for 10 people. For Groups of 10 booking size who opt for the Public Sessions, we will include the Desserts High Tea Style Platter for $1 normally $100. All other platters work out to be $14.50 per person for 10 people, total of $145 for each platter type
06 What if the packages don’t suit me?
Don’t worry, you can customise a package tailored to your groups needs via email us at wesleytaylorartstudios@gmail.com
07 How does Paint and Sip Work ?
For a Paint and Sip activity private event you choose the painting to do. Everyone does the same painting, with step-by-step instructions from your teacher. For Public sessions there is a designated painting on the website for each session, however if you book early enough you can also nominate the painting if one has not been selected by that time
08 I don’t have guests confirmed! What can I do?
Book based on your Minimum possible guests, however give us heads up at least 7 days before for final numbers, this will ensure that we have space for everyone!
Please pay the deposit amount and our functions team will get in touch with you to finalise your booking, confirm guests and make final payment 7 business day prior to the event.
09 Can I get a refund for no shows?
Unfortunately we don’t offer refunds. However numbers above the minimum spend and Qty price required for a function, we can give you some free passes to come and enjoy a pulbic session another time!
10 Can I postpone an event?
Absolutely! We just need a minimum of 7 business days notice. We offer rescheduling for any future date with no expiry, however no refunds.
11 What if I’m on a budget?
Don’t worry, you can tailor a package to suit your budget with public sessions only $29 per person with no minimum Quantities required.

12 Can I do a deposit payment?
Yes! At payment select 50% on the seats required for tthe deposit payment for your function. However still pay via the total size group for example 20 people at $29 per person. Follow up with an email confirming your details, date and time, and total expected numbers approximately. The final payment must be made 7 business days prior to your party.
Please note in November and December from Thursday till Sunday, any private sessions must meet a minimum spend of $580 per booking, otherwise will need to be added to the public sessions running on the day. Extra spend other then seats can include, platters, aprons, extended time, pickup of pieces service, Clay kiln firing

Step 4 Final Arrangements and payments
Pickup options Arrange in advance if you would like to leave your Artworks for pickup another day. This is a paid service of $5 per person, and we can label your pieces, for pickup Monday till Thursday 1pm till 6pm. Please book in advance at

Extend Time options Arrange in advance if it is possible to extend your time slot. Each time slot is exactly 2 hours as we book sessions back to back. However depending on the day, this time can be extended for $50 for half an hour, and $100 for 1 hour. Please check first and pay at

Clay firing service option Arrange in advance for firing of pieces made in class. This is $15 per person, per class. Great for Groups, which also goes towards the minimum spend on private functions. This also includes the pickup and you will get an sms in 3-4 weeks to arrange. Scroll to bottom, firing service option.

Covid Safe Procedures
We still operate with covid safe procedures. We no longer lend aprons out due to material contact points as these are not washed between sessions. Your welcome to bring your own apron to any session venue, or we have them for sale with advance sale notice. Printed logo aprons are $25 each. Most people are fine without an apron, as long as they have heads up with dressing with this in mind. It is only if you have a brush malfunction and drop your brush on yourself. The paint does wash out with warm soapy water or Soda water with the bubles will get it out.
Final Numbers and Payment for Private Events
Please advise final numbers and payment for events 1 week before the event date. The latest date would be the Monday before the weekend of the event for final numbers and payment. We let you advise this number pretty close to the event, so you have a pretty exact number close to the event date
