What To Expect from Our Brisbane Ceramic Clay Paint & Sip!

Note: Please note the Ceramic pieces are for separate sale to the ticketed price. This ranges from $29 depending on the piece you select, including firing.

Firing only of pieces from our clay and sip, or wheel sessions is $15 per piece for the painted Glaze pieces. Hence, you can make the items in a clay and sip hand built, or wheel throwing session, and leave the piece to be fired the first time for ceramic painting. It will then need a second firing after the ceramic painting.

For glazing, your ceramics bisk ware has been in the kiln this can be painted with ceramic underglaze paint, once dry, a clear glaze coat is added, and then it is ready for the second firing.

We offer a fun informative experience of the process. Firing takes up to 1 week.

We do not offer transfer of date within the notice period of 7 days. You may give the session seating to another person however this is non-refundable if you do not make it.

Glazed Ceramic Pickups
Best pickup is Monday till Thursday between 1pm and 5:30pm, and can do little later on Tuesday or Thursday till 6pm
Week day pickups is ideal, as we get very busy on the weekends, and we do not have extra staff attending the shop for pickups
If you really need to do a weekend pickup this has to be between sessions, and not in the middle of the session when we are at the busiest time.
Generally Weekend would have to be by appointment, however the outline is:
For Saturdays, ideally between 1:30pm and 1:45pm (This is before the wheel session which can get very busy)
For Sundays, after the session between 3:30pm and 3:45pm (This is also also before the wheel session)
Pickup is at Main studio 1 next to wake up cafe. We have 3 display windows, which goes around the corner, and down to the far wall adjacent to the toilets. Spot out your piece, and then ask our staff to get the piece out for you. We have limited packaging, so best to bring a bag or box to put the pieces in. However we will offer what we have at the time available, mainly larger cardboard boxes
Any questions best on email via wesleytaylorartstudios@gmail.com
